FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions parents ask us most — about orders, returns, warranty, and our products.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days and then handed to the carrier. Delivery options and any shipping cost are shown at checkout before you pay. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees — carrier or weather delays can happen and are outside our control. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships. See our Shipping page for details.
How do I track my order?
As soon as your order ships, we email you a tracking link. You can also find it by logging into your account and opening the order. If 48 hours have passed since your order confirmation and you still don't see a tracking email, check your spam folder, then reach out through our Contact page.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, plus express options like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. See our Payment Methods page for the full list. Your payment is processed securely and your card details are never stored on our servers.
Do I need an account to place an order?
No — you can check out as a guest with just your email address. Creating an account is optional but handy: you can track orders, save addresses, and manage returns in one place, and registered customers get early access to sales and new launches.
My order arrived damaged or it's the wrong item — what do I do?
We're sorry — please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us right away at [email protected] with your order number and a photo of the item and packaging, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
What is your return policy?
You have 90 days from delivery to request a return. Items must be unused and in the same condition you received them, with tags and original packaging, plus your receipt or proof of purchase. To start, email us at [email protected] and we'll send a return shipping label and instructions. Items sent back without requesting a return first can't be accepted. Sale items and gift cards are not returnable.
How do refunds work?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll let you know if it's approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may need a little extra time to post it. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you don't see it, email [email protected].
Can I exchange an item for a different model or color?
We don't process direct exchanges. The fastest way to get what you want is to return the original item and, once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the new one — so you're not waiting on stock.
What does the warranty cover, and how long does it last?
Every Kinderkraft product comes with a 24-month manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. You can extend that to a free 10-year warranty by registering your product within 30 days of purchase. Full terms are on our Warranty and Extended Warranty pages.
How do I report a faulty product?
For a fault or defect, use our Report a Faulty Item page rather than a standard return, so we can route your claim correctly. Include your order number, a short description of the issue, and a few photos or a short video, and our team will review it and follow up.
Where can I find the user manual or assembly instructions?
Every product manual and assembly guide is available to download as a PDF on our User Manuals & Instructions page. You'll also find a copy in the box with your product. If you can't find the manual for your model, reach out through our Contact page and we'll send it over.
Do products arrive assembled?
Most items arrive partially assembled and include the tools and instructions needed to finish setup at home in a few minutes. Strollers, high chairs, and bikes typically need light assembly; car seats and carriers are ready to use out of the box. Assembly details are noted on each product page.
What height and weight does each car seat fit?
Our range covers every stage — rear-facing infant seats, convertible seats that grow from rear- to forward-facing, and high-back boosters. Fit is set by your child's height and weight (in pounds), not just age, and the exact range is listed on each product page. Always keep your child rear-facing as long as the seat allows.
Are your car seats certified for use in the U.S.?
Yes. Every car seat we sell in the U.S. is tested and certified to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 213 (FMVSS 213), the federal standard for child restraints. Each model ships with a manual covering correct installation and use.
How do the car seats install?
Our seats install with either the LATCH system (lower anchors and top tether) or the vehicle's seat belt — both methods are covered in the manual. Forward-facing seats should always use the top tether for maximum stability. Check your vehicle's manual to confirm LATCH anchor locations.
My child's car seat was in a crash — is it still safe to use?
No. Car seats are built to absorb a crash once, so any seat involved in a collision — even a minor one — should be replaced, even if it looks undamaged. See our Car Seat Safety page, then contact us with your purchase details and we'll guide you through next steps.
Are your strollers suitable for newborns?
Many are, especially models with a fully reclining seat or a compatible carrycot or infant car seat for a flat-lying newborn position. The recommended starting age is listed on each product page, so check before you buy.
Can I fold the stroller with one hand?
Most of our strollers feature a one-hand or compact self-standing fold — handy when you're holding your baby. The fold type is noted in each product description.
At what age can my baby use a high chair?
Our high chairs are generally suitable from around 6 months, once your baby can sit upright with support. Several models recline or convert for use from birth or into a toddler chair later — check the product page for the range that fits your child.
Are the seat pads and covers machine washable?
Yes — most seat pads and covers are removable and machine washable, and trays are easy to wipe down or rinse. Always follow the care label for water temperature and drying.
What size mattress fits your cribs?
Each crib listing includes the exact mattress dimensions it's designed for. For safety, always use a firm mattress sized specifically for that crib, with no more than two fingers' gap between the mattress and the frame.
Are your cribs convertible?
Several of our cribs convert into a toddler bed as your child grows. Look for the convertible note in the product description to see which models and what's included.
What age are your bikes for?
Balance bikes generally suit children from around 18 months, while pedal bikes are built for ages 3 and up. Because fit depends on leg length, each product page lists a recommended height range — use that alongside age.
Do the bikes need assembly?
Bikes arrive partially assembled with the tools and instructions needed to finish at home in a few minutes — usually just attaching the handlebars, seat, and wheels.
Are your baby carriers ergonomic?
Yes. Our carriers are designed to support healthy hip and spine positioning for your baby and to spread weight comfortably across your hips and shoulders. Many offer multiple carry positions as your child grows.
What's the weight range for your carriers?
It varies by model — typically from about 8 lbs up to roughly 33 lbs. Check the individual product page for the exact range and any newborn insert requirements.
Are your rockers manual or powered?
We offer both. Some rock manually; others have powered swinging with motion and sound settings. The power source is listed on each product page.
Can a newborn use a rocker?
Many of our rockers are suitable from birth. Always use the harness, place the rocker on a flat, stable surface on the floor (never on an elevated surface), and never leave your baby unattended or let them sleep in it.
Are your diaper bags waterproof?
Many use water-resistant materials that wipe clean easily. Check the product description for the exact material and whether it's water-resistant or fully waterproof.
Do the bags include a changing mat?
Most of our diaper bags come with a foldable changing mat plus insulated bottle pockets and organizer compartments for on-the-go changes.
Are your play mats non-toxic?
Yes. Our play mats are made from baby-safe materials and are free from harmful chemicals like BPA and phthalates, so they're safe for tummy time and play.
How do I clean a play mat?
Most mats wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Some fabric models are machine washable — check the care label on your specific mat.
