When should you start using a high chair?
When deciding to buy a high chair, make sure that your youngster has mastered sitting up unaided. Exceptions to this rule are multi-functional models (e.g. our LASTREE), which thanks to the bouncer function can even be used by infants, as well as high chairs with an adjustable backrest. The latter can be used by littlies who are less confident in their sitting-up skills – for them you can set the backrest in a reclining position. Parents usually use such high chairs to bottle feed their baby.
In other cases don't speed up development and place your child in a chair if they're not yet able to maintain a stable sitting position.
Which high chair should you choose?
